WE LOVE WHAT WE DO
IT'S OUR PASSION
Svalson balustrade and window systems are located in Sydney, Australia.
We’re ideal for cafes, restaurants, resorts or balconies where wind protection & sound insulation is required.
We turn empty spaces on windy days, into desirable outdoor dining and drinking hot spots
SVALSON PRODUCTION
Svalson AB is a second generation family run company manufacturing glazing solutions in Sweden since 1981.
Svalson production facilities are located in Öjebyn (in Piteå) and in Luleå, Sweden. Our balustrade and window systems are sold worldwide with a strong base in the Nordics and France.
The wind barriers adjust in height with the assistance of a counterweight, making them easy to pull up and push down. The height adjustable glass remains at any height without locking.
Our products are manufactured in aluminium and laminated security glass to the size required. There are five different heights in sections up to 2200 mm. Satin anodized aluminium is the standard frame finish, but you can choose to powder coat in any standard RAL colour.
“Svalson was first on the market with electrical sliding windows. We are still world leaders. It is not difficult to be first, but to lead the way you always have to be one step ahead of your competitors and always prepared to give a little more. We are.”
Maud Spencer, CEO Svalson AB

WORKED FOR
These are just some of our customers who have grown their revenue and popularity with our Wind Barriers.
What Clients Say
“We have looked at a number of other products over the years but nothing has come close to the Svalson product in terms of ease of operation and overall benefits. With our deck sitting out over the water and copping the full brunt of often strong nor easter’s, the wind break needs to cut the breeze whilst still allowing our customers to enjoy full 360 degree views of Manly Cove. The barriers have done exactly that and have been a fantastic addition to our business.
The benefit to our business has been immense and instant. On a typical summer’s evening we would lose customers from our deck as soon as the sun went down, as it was just too cold with the breeze blowing off the water. The day the barriers went in, we saw our customers sitting out on the deck enjoying dinner and drinks until we closed. This trend has continued since day one and has easily added thousands of dollars to our sales and more importantly our bottom line. I would highly recommend the Svalson product to anyone considering it and cannot fault David for his attention to detail and great customer service.”
